Airline Adds Some ‘Spice’ To Its Inflight Menu

Gurugram: SpiceJet has partnered with Old Delhi’s iconic eatery, Karim’s to introduce the famous Shan-e-Tandoor platter on-board its select domestic and international flights.

The Shan-e-Tandoor platter will include Mughlai delicacies like Chicken Reshmi Kebab, Chicken Shami Kebab, Chicken Malai Tikka and Chicken Tikka.

To start with, the platter will be available on select domestic and international flights departing from New Delhi, effective from February 19. It will be followed by Mumbai and Kolkata and eventually the entire network, a SpiceJet spokesperson informed.

SpiceJet will also be adding many more delicacies from Karim’s to its elaborate in-flight menu in the coming weeks, the spokesperson said.

Notably, SpiceJet, which is the country’s second largest airline, had launched flight operations at Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Odisha’s Jharsuguda from January 12 this year.
