Mumbai: Following the terror attack on innocent civilians in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22, several Bollywood celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, took to social media to condemn the killing of 26 people.
During the screening of his recently-released film ‘Kesari: Chapter 2’ on Saturday, Akshay said that the anger which the Indians had for the British in the past, today they have the same anger for terrorists behind the Pahalgam attack.
The actor said that he wants to say the same thing to the terrorists, which he had said in the courtroom in his film.
Addressing the audience after the movie got over, Akshay said, “Unfortunately aaj bhi humare sab ke dil mein woh gussa phir se jaga hain. Aap sab log achchi tarah se jaante he main kis cheez ki baat kar raha hoon. Aaj bhi hum un terrorists o ko ek hi baat kehna chahenge. Jo maine iss film mein kahi he, kya (Even today we are feeling the same anger all over again. All of you know exactly what I am talking about. Today also I want to say the same few words to the terrorists which I have said in the film. What)?”
The audience replied, “F*** you,” echoing Akshay’s dialogue in the film.
