Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday sanctioned Rs 27.58 crore for 110 panchayats in four blocks of four districts under Ama Gaon Ama Bikash Yojana for the second time at the block level.
The chief minister sanctioned the amount for 1122 projects after interacting with the block representatives through video conferencing at the State Secretariat here.
Of the sanctioned amount, Rs 6.75 crore has been earmarked for 250 projects in 27 panchayats of Bargarh block in Bargarh district, Rs 6 crore for 231 projects in 24 panchayats of Titlagarh block in Titlagarh district, Rs 9.30 crore for 384 projects in 37 panchayats of the Sadar block in Balasore district and Rs 5.53 crore for 257 projects in 22 panchayats of theKhandapada block in Nayagarh district.
The chief minister advised the people and the block representatives to ensure timely completion of the projects.
Among others, chief secretary, principal secretary, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water and senior officials of the concerned departments were present.
