Mumbai: Ananya Panday was interrogated by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials, in connection with the Aryan Khan drugs case, for the second straight day on Friday.
After a two-hour session on Thursday, Day 2 questioning of the Bollywood actress lasted nearly four hours.
But that’s not the end. The grilling of Chunky Panday’s daughter will continue on Monday, October 25. A call on whether she needs to be detained will be taken after that.
Ananya, accompanied by her father, reached the NCB office around 2.30 pm. She went in to face more questions from NCB zonal chief Sameer Wankhede as Chunky Panday waited outside. At around 6.30 pm, Ananya and Chunky left the NCB office.
NCB summoned Ananya after WhatsApp chats indicated that she helped Aryan procure drugs on at least three occasions – during 2018-19.
According to reports, Ananya denied arranging drugs for Shah Rukh Khan’s son and claimed she has never consumed drugs. Asked about the chats, Ananya said she meant it as a joke.
