Mumbai: Esha Deol is the latest victim of cyber fraud from Bollywood community.
Her Instagram account has been hacked and her account’s display name changed to ‘Instagram Support’.
“This morning my official Instagram account imeshadeol got Hacked, so please don’t reply to any msg if you received any from my Instagram account. Sorry for the inconvenience. Insta Id : imeshadeol,” the actress, who is Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter, tweeted from her verified account on Sunday.
Actor Riteish Deshmukh recently revealed he was also targeted, but he didn’t fall prey, reported IANS.
“Beware of the new Cyber Fraud- for all @instagram users. I received a similar DM but fortunately I didn’t click the link. @MahaCyber1,” he had tweeted.
Among others whose Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts have been compromised in recent months include filmmaker Aanand Rai, actors Vikrant Massey and Urmila Matondkar, choreographer-director Farah Khan, singers Asha Bhosle and Ankit Tiwari.
