Ayana Routray Of Bhubaneswar Crowned KIIT-Nanhipari Little Miss India 2022 In Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: Ayana Routray from Bhubaneswar was crowned KIIT-Nanhipari Little Miss India 2022 in the beauty pageant held in the KIIT campus in Bhubaneswar.
Ayana won the title in the mega audition and final round of the competition among 10 finalists on Thursday. Raisa Sehnawaz was crowned first runner-up and Sachi Rajesh from Guwahati won the second runner-up in the competition. While Ayana was awarded Rs 3 lakh besides the crown, the runners-up received the cash reward of Rs 1.5 lakh each.
While 26 contestants from different parts of the country were selected for semi-final, 10 of them made it to the final round. The finalists face several competitions before their ranks were decided by the jury.
The contestants participated in 10 different categories of the beauty pageant. While Ayana was selected as Miss Rapunzel (for beautiful hair), Abhisika Chand from Jharkhand was crowned Little Miss Photogenic. Little Miss Selfie (for getting most likes in Facebook) went to Siddhika Prasad of Sikkim, Little Miss Monalisa to Sachi Rajesh Sawant, Little Miss Wizkid (for security highest marks in quiz) to Anbhi Bania of Sikkim, Miss Cindrella (for best personality) to Krisita Mohapatra of Bhubaneswar, Miss Urvasi (most knowledgeable) to Raisa Sehenawaz, Miss Personality to Parijat Choudhury of Kolkata and Miss Active to Chirasri Sagarika of Bhubaneswar.
In all categories of competitions, the winners were awarded Rs 3 lakh in cash, 100% waiver of fees during admission to KIIT University and a tour to South Korea with the parents. The first runner-up was awarded Rs 1 lakh and 50% fee waiver and the second runner-up was awarded Rs 50,000 and 50% fee waiver.
Among others, chief patron of KIIT Nanhipari Achyuta Samanta, patron Malay Mohapatra, core committee member Sucheta Priyabadini and Dr Sraddhanjali Nayak were present at the function.
