Balangir Girl Subhashree Is Odisha’s Face In Femina Miss India

Balangir: Subhashree Rayaguru of Balangir has made it to the Femina Miss India-2020 finals.  She is among the top five finalists from Odisha to enter the beauty pageant.

Daughter of Balangir Special Judicial Magistrate (SJM) Ramesh Chandra Rayaguru, Subhashree is a lawyer by profession.

A multi-faceted woman wrapped into one charming personality, she is a celebrity anchor, model, actor, dancer as well as a theatre artist.

Her interest in acting and modeling was kindled during schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya-II here and she went on to pursue her passion alongside studies.

A popular face in the anchoring field, she has around 3,000 live shows to her credit and acted in television commercials.

Subhashree also worked as an assistant director for a Bollywood movie.

Having made western Odisha proud, she now looks forwards to making it to the Top-31 and then Top-15 in VLCC Femina Miss India.

She aspires to work towards women’s empowerment.

The other winners from the state are Pranati Ojha, Megha Sahu, Sriya Raut and Deekshya Singh.

The state winners will form the final pool of contestants for Femina Miss India 2020.

The 31 finalists selected from different states will be narrowed down to Top-15 that will proceed to the final stage of the contest in Mumbai, which will be held in a traditional format.

The reduced number of contests that allows us to maintain adequate social distancing protocols, stated the information available on the Femina site.
