Bhubaneswar Registers 21 More COVID Deaths; Slight Fall In New Cases
Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 cases continued to rise in the capital city with 318 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 372 infections on Saturday and 311 infections on Friday.
Of the new cases, 69 were from quarantine and 249 were local contacts, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated in its tweet.
The city logged 272 recoveries while there are 1,396 active cases. The number of deceased has touched 637 with 21 more deaths registered in the city during the period.
A total of 93,830 patients have recovered from the virus. The total number of cases stood at 95,884.
