Bhubaneswar Reports One More Corona Case; Know The Details Of 103 New Patients In Odisha
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday released details of 103 patients, who have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
Of these fresh cases, 96 have been detected in quarantine centres, while seven are local.
The highest of 22 cases have been reported from Deogarh district. Of them, 16 had recently returned from Tamil Nadu, three from Andhra Pradesh, and were in quarantine centre. The remaining three are local cases, an I & PR department tweet said.
The person in Jajpur, who tested corona positive, was in quarantine centre and had recently returned from Telangana.
In Ganjam, two cases have been detected in quarantine centre while two others are locals.
One case has been detected in Mayurbhanj- an Andhra Pradesh returnee and in quarantine centre.
Koraput saw six news cases with travel history to Andhra Pradesh.
Of the 15 cases reported from Kendrapara district, seven are West Bengal returnees, four from Telangana, one each from Gujarat and Tamil Nadu and two from Karnataka. All were in quarantine centres.
Of the five cases in Balasore, three are Tamil Nadu returnees and one each from West Bengal and Maharashtra.
One case has been reported from Bhubaneswar. The person was in home quarantine. Among the other four cases detected in Khurda district, three had recently returned from Gujarat and one from Maharashtra.
One case has been detected in Keonjhar – a Maharashtra returnee.
Of the nine cases in Malkangiri, four are Andhra Pradesh returnees, two from Telangana and as many from Tamil Nadu, while one is a local case.
A Surat returnee in quarantine centre has tested positive for the virus in Kandhamal.
Six cases have been detected in Gajapati. All are Maharashtra returnees and in quarantine centres.
In Bhadrak, eight cases have been detected. Of them four had recently returned from West Bengal, two from Gujarat and one each from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. All were in quarantine centre.
Balangir reported eight cases. Of them, five are Maharastra returnees, the other two are Gujarat returnees and one from Chhattisgarh.
The one case detected in Dhenkanal is a Chhattisgarh returnee.
Of the 10 cases in Jagatsinghpur, eight are West Bengal returnees and two from Tamil Nadu.
