Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) now has a new address at a swanky place with state-of-the-art facilities in the iconic BMC-ICOMC Building in Satyanagar area.
According to sources, the head office of the BSCL has been shifted to the 5th floor of the 12-storey building in Odisha capital.
The office of the smart city of Bhubaneswar had been functioning at the BMC Bhawani Mall in Shaheed Nagar.
Sources said the office of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) is also going to be shifted to the 3rd and 4th floor of this building soon.
Last month, Deloitte, a leading global professional services firm, established its footprint in Odisha with the inauguration of its Capability Enhancement Centre (CEC) at BMC-ICOMC Tower.
The building is envisaged to emerge as capital city’s service headquarters with integration of various city level agencies under BMC. Bhubaneswar’s state-of-the-art Intelligent City Operations and Management Centre (ICOMC) will provide digital platform for integrating multiple city sub-systems.
All citizen centric services under BMC will be available under one roof. ICOMC will result in safe mobility, responsive city operations and management along with optimisation of expenditures by providing real time data support.
