Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar region recorded a pass percentage of 92.64% in the CBSE Class X examination, the results of which was declared on Tuesday.
Of 1,40,507 students (76,251 boys and 64,256 girls), who took the exam from February 15 to March 18, 2025, 1,30,163 passed and it included 69,869 boys (91.63%) and 60,294 girls (93.83%).
Similarly, Bhubaneswar region secured 11th position in the list of top-performing regions in the Class XII examination. The pass percentage of students in Bhubaneswar region stood at 83.64 (81.42% boys and 86.30% girls) this year.
SAI INTERNATIONAL
Students of SAI International School (SIS) and SAI International Residential School (SIRS) posted 100% pass percentage in Class X and XII examinations.
In Class XII, Dhiraj Dhanuka topped the Commerce stream with 98.8%. Anoushka Panda was the topper in Humanities with 98.2% and N. Shreya Amolika in Science stream with 98%.
All students scored above 60 percent, with 20.27% securing more than 95 per cent, 44.6% achieving above 90 per cent, and 91.5% more than 75 per cent. The school average stood at 88.80%, with stream-wise averages of 88.28% in Science, 89.08% in Commerce, and 89.05% in Humanities.
In Class X, Aahana Parija topped the exam in the school with 99.2%, followed by Harsh Agarwall with 98.8%. The third rank was jointly held by Anushka Panda, Vallabh Sairaman Agrawalla, and Swagat Mohapatro, each scoring 98.6%. All students scored above 60%, with 21.72% securing above 95 per cent, 59.22% scoring above 90 per cent, and 93.23% achieving more than 75 per cent, resulting in an average of 88.82%.
At SAI International Residential School (SIRS), Nikhit Kasera and Shiksha Banka, both from the Commerce stream, secured the top position with 98% in Class XII exam, while Humanities students Nitya Sethia and Kasish Gupta scored 97%. In the Science stream, Preeyansh Tibrewal scored highest 96%.
While all students scored above 60 per cent, 18.4% secured over 95 percent, 39.16% above 90 per cent, and 86.41% more than 75 per cent. The school’s average was 87.69%.
In Class X, Archit Agarwal topped the residential wing with 97.2%, followed by Shiv Agnihotri with 96.6% and Mayank Kumar Beria with 94.2%. The school recorded a strong overall average of 83.01%.

KIIT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
In the Class XII results, all 265 students secured first division, achieving a 100 per cent pass rate. Trisha Rath topped the school with 99.4 per cent in the Humanities stream, emerging as the regional topper. Hans Daruka scored the highest in the Science stream with 98.8 per cent, while Dipti Sahu led the Commerce stream with 98.6 per cent. Notably, 104 students — accounting for nearly 40 per cent of the batch — scored above 90 per cent, a KIIT release said.
All four Class XII students of SEN Globe programme, designed for students with special educational needs, scored above 80 per cent, with one student securing an impressive 95 per cent.
The 112 Class X students secured first division, with 58 students scoring above 90 per cent and seven above 70 per cent. Uswastee Ubika Patsani emerged as the school topper with 99 per cent.
Founder of KIIT and KISS, Dr Achyuta Samanta, along with the school faculty, congratulated the students and their families for their outstanding performance, dedication, and perseverance.
OAVS PERFORMANCE
In Class X, pass percentage increased from 82.26% in 2024 to 91.8% this year 2025. A total of 1062 students secured more than 90% of marks. Kabya Ranjan Majhi of OAV Pallasgadia, Bonth, topped the list by securing 99.4% marks.
In Class XII (Science) examination the pass percentage reached 72.05% compared to 63.19% the previous year. Om Prasad Sahoo of OAV Khaprakhol, Balangir topped ,among all OAV students by securing 97.4%.
Similarly in Class XII (Commerce) examination, the pass percentage saw a significant increase from 44.24% in 2024 to 77.60% this year. Madhusmita Behera of OAV Rengali, Sambalpu,r topped among all OAV (Commerce) students by securing 94.6%.
