Bhubaneswar: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) here was conferred with ‘Eastern India’s Premier University for Research Excellence and Industry Readiness’ at Times Business Awards Bihar 2025 held at Patna recently.
The honour was bestowed on SOA in recognition of its commitment to innovation, academic excellence and industry-focused education, a Times Business Awards release here said.
SOA’s Pro-Vice Chancellor Prashanta Kumar Patra received the award on behalf of the university.
In addition, the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), SOA’s faculty of engineering and technology, was conferred with the distinction of ‘No. 1 Engineering Institute in Eastern India’.
This accolade was given keeping in view ITER’s consistent efforts in nurturing talent, fostering research and producing industry-ready engineers who have been significantly contributing to national and global growth.
These recognitions at the Times Business Awards Bihar 2025 stand as a testament to SOA and ITER’s vision of academic leadership, cutting-edge research and excellence in higher education, the release added.
