Mumbai: Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar had recently shared screen space in Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster cop saga ‘Singham Again.’
The action heroes will team up again for an upcoming movie, as an actor and director.
While Ajay will be donning the director’s hat, Akshay will play the lead hero in the film.
The duo revealed their upcoming venture during the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024 on Saturday.
“This is something we were going to announce later but I think this is a great platform. We are already working on something together where I am directing the film and he is in the film,” Ajay told Sonal Kalra, Chief Managing Editor, Entertainment & Lifestyle, HT.
Asked to share some more details of their new project, Akshay joked, “Sonal, main script hi bhej deta hu (I will send the script to you).”
Ajay quipped, “It’s a little too early, we will talk about it.”
Ajay and Akshay have featured in movies like ‘Khaki’’, ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Suhaag.’
Ajay earlier directed ‘Bholaa’, ‘Runway 34’, ‘Shivaay’ and ‘U Me Aur Hum.’
