Gajapati: Bodies of two sisters were recovered from a well in front of their house at Chheligad village under R Udaygiri police limits in Gajapati district late on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Kiran Achari (22) and Swapna Achari (18).

The bodies of the two girls were spotted by their father Pramod Achari, who alerted the police about the same at around 2 am.
Police and fire officials reached the spot this morning and recovered the bodies.
Though the exact reason behind the death is not yet ascertained, the family members alleged that the girls were murdered by their relatives and the bodies later dumped in the well.
