Bhubaneswar: Bollywood star Akshay Kumar who connects with his fans onscreen and off-screen with his charisma, this time patted Mo Parivar, a welfare wing of the BJD, for coming forward to help the actor’s domestic help in getting required medical attention in Odisha.
Akshay’s house help Titu Bhuiyan was looking for help for the treatment of his wife Sangeeta, who stays in Berhampur of Ganjam district.
Akshay contacted BJD’s Mo Parivar for help following which Jiban Bindu Ganjam coordinator Subash Chandra Moharana came forward and arranged for the required treatment at MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.
Appreciating the intervention of Mo Parivar member, Akshay spoke to its convenor Arup Patnaik to thank him as well as Maharana for the selfless service during the testing times.
Akshay wrote: “I would like to take this opportunity to convey my sincerest appreciation for the massive help that you extended towards my house help during these difficult times. As you are aware, it was an emergency situation and with your timely help an unpleasant situation was made bearable. Thank you once again and wishing you all the best,” the actor said in a letter of appreciation.
