Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has finally summoned filmmaker Karan Johar for interrogation over his alleged involvement in the drug nexus.
According to a report in DNA, the NCB issued summons to Karan on Thursday.
The investigating agency apparently wants to get some details from the filmmaker regarding drug nexus in the industry.
Following Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, Kangana Ranaut had alleged that Karan heads the drug racket in Bollywood.
Even Shiromani Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa had approached the NCB for investigating a viral video, which was shot during an alleged drug party at Karan’s residence.
Actor Arjun Rampal had also been summoned by the agency on Wednesday. However, he sought a week’s time before appearing for interrogation citing personal problems, reported IANS.
