New Delhi: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has called a high-level meeting on Sunday with all states & UT education ministers, secretaries and chairpersons of state examination boards as well as stakeholders to discuss the pending Class 12 Board examinations and competitive entrance tests for professional courses.

CBSE and most state boards have deferred Class 12 exams because of the alarming surge in COVID-19 cases amid the second wave of the pandemic. Crucial career-defining entrance exams like JEE, NEET, CLAT etc. have also been postponed.
