Keonjhar: Keonjhar SP Mitrabhanu Mahapatra had a narrow escape after a truck hit his official vehicle on Thursday morning.
According to reports, Mahapatra was going to Turumunga police station on the outskirts of Keonjhar town for inspection when the truck rammed into his vehicle at Jharbeda Chhak near Turumunga market. Fortunately, the SP had no major injuries as the impact of the collision was less.

Soon after, Turumunga police arrived at the spot and detained the truck driver.
The SP later returned to the district headquarters in another vehicle.
