Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the third edition of the Make in Odisha conclave at 5.30 pm on Wednesday.
According to the schedule, a cultural event will take place from 5.30 till 7.30 pm on Wednesday.
Following is the schedule:
December 1:-
- Plenary session with business leaders from 10 am – 1 pm
- Plenary session – Start-up Odisha from 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm
- Business leadership talks from 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm
- Partner Country Sessions from 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm
December 2:-
- Plenary session – Skilled in Odisha from 10.30 am – 12.30 pm
- Plenary session – Metal Downstream from 2.30 pm – 4.30 pm
- Sectoral Sessions from 10.30 am – 12.30 pm and from 2.30 pm – 4.30 pm
December 3:-
- Plenary session – Women SHGs from 10.30 am – 12.30 pm
- Plenary session – Transforming School Education for future-ready Odisha from 2.30 pm – 4.30 pm
- Sectoral Sessions from 10.30 am – 12.30 pm and from 2.30 pm – 4.30 pm
- Valedictory ceremony from 5.30 pm – 6.30 pm
December 4:-
- Exhibition (Open to Public) from 11 am – 9 pm
- Mega cultural event from 6 pm – 9 pm
- Make in Odisha exhibition closure
One among six key focus sectors is Textiles and Apparels. With the purpose to showcase the opportunities and potential of Odisha in the Textiles, Apparels and Technical Textiles sectors, there will be two Sectoral Sessions held on December 2, 2022 to promote the Textiles and Apparels sector.
The first session on ‘Textile and Apparel’ revolves around the emergence of Odisha as the textile hub of Eastern India while the second panel discussion on “Sourcing of Handlooms and Handicrafts” talk about promoting and capitalising the global market potential of Odisha’s traditional handlooms and handicrafts.
The event, being organised at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar, will continue till December 4 and will showcase the state’s development story as well as its favorable investment environment.
The mega event is being organised after a gap of three years of COVID pandemic. Security beefed up for the conclave and 10 platoons force will be deployed in the capital city.
The general public and invitees can enter from Gate-1, while the special invitee will be allowed to enter from Gate-2. Meanwhile, the Gate-3 will be open for mediapersons.
