Containment Tag Lifted From Malisahi In Cuttack City

Cuttack: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Sunday lifted the containment zone tag from Malisahi in Ranihat area (ward no. 31) in the city.

The decision was taken after no trace of local transmission was found following six rounds of active surveillance, the CMC informed in a tweet.

We are hereby lifting the containment zone restrictions from the Ranihat, Malisahi area. This decision is being taken after 6 rounds of active surveillance and negating any possible local transmission of #COVID19 in the area. pic.twitter.com/pd9kAIsyxD

The area was declared as a containment zone on July 4 after the detection of COVID-19 positive cases.
