Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday revealed the details of 20 persons who had tested positive for coronavirus the previous day.
While 17 among them are from Ganjam, three belong to Mayurbhanj districts. And all of them are Surat returnees.

3 Positive cases in Mayurbhanj
All Male, Age: 21, 36 & 44(Surat returnees. In quarantine)

With this Ganjam now has 21 positive cases and all linked to migrants from Surat, who have carried the virus to two unaffected districts – Mayurbhanj and Jagatsinghpur.

Four persons, who had recently returned from Surat, had tested positive for the virus in Jagatsinghpur on Wednesday (May 6).

Cuttack also reported a positive case after a gap of one month on Tuesday (May 5) and the person was also a Surat returnee.

With two deaths and 61 recoveries, Odisha now has 142 active cases.
