Berhampur: The surge in COVID-19 cases continued in Odisha’s Ganjam district with 245 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours.
Among them, 206 are active contact cases, 36 Corona Warriors and three with travel history. The highest of 72 new cases have been reported from Berhampur followed by Hinjilicut (24) and Ganjam (15).

With these new cases, the COVID-19 tally in the district touched 9746 on Wednesday. The virus has claimed 86 lives while 6303 patients have recovered from the infection. Ganjam now has 3357 active cases.
