COVID-19 Outbreak: Four Local Contact Cases Reported From Odisha’s Koraput

Koraput: As many as 11 fresh COVID-19 positive cases including four from local contacts were reported from Koraput district on Saturday.

Koraput collector Madhusudan Mishra said the new positive cases included nine men and two women. While six cases have been reported from institutional quarantine centres, one is from home quarantine and the rest four from local contacts, he added.

All 11 patients have been referred to the COVID hospital while their contact tracing has begun.

Out of a total of 85 positive cases reported from the district so far, 48 are active cases while 47 patients have been cured of the disease and are being discharged from the COVID Hospital, the collector said.
