Bhubaneswar: A new case of COVID-19 has surfaced in Odisha as a man who recently returned from New Delhi tested positive for the virus in Bhubaneswar.

As per Information, the infected person returned to Bhubaneswar after a visit to Delhi. A test was conducted after the patient complained of certain symptoms.

Soon after the diagnosis, he was placed under quarantine as a precautionary measure to prevent further spread of the infection.

Sources said that the patient is now in stable condition and is receiving necessary medical care while being in isolation in a private hospital.

Health officials have initiated tracing efforts to identify any close contacts and prevent further spread of infection.

Notably, the number of COVID-19 cases has increased in Singapore, Hong Kong, and some other countries.

The fresh case of COVID-19 has sparked fears about the potential resurgence of the virus in the state.

Health authorities and experts have urged people to remain vigilant and to adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines.
