COVID-19: Spike In Positive Cases Leads Recoveries To Cross 200-Mark In Odisha
Bhubaneswar: With daily COVID-19 positive cases going up fast across Odisha in the last few days, the recoveries crossed 200 on Friday.
As many as 218 patients recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals in 24 districts on the day.
They included 48 from Nuapada district, 23 each from Cuttack and Khurda, 22 from Sundargarh, 20 from Balangir, 10 from Rayagada, 9 from Mayurbhanj, 8 each from Kalahandi and Sambalpur and 7 from Balasore, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
The recoveries from other districts are as follow:
5 each from Bhadrak, Ganjam, Jajpur and Puri
2 each from Angul, Bargarh, Jagatsinghpur and Keonjhar
1 each from Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Jharsuguda, Kendrapada and Nabarangpur
6 from State Pool
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,37,430 against positive tally of 3,41,772 with 461 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
