Balasore: The COVID-19 cases in Balasore district touched 615 on Wednesday with 61 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Of the 20 quarantine cases, 7 had returned from Telangana, 3 from Maharashtra, 2 each from Tamil Nadu, New Delhi and West Bengal and 1 each from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka while 2 were in the institutional quarantine at AIIMS in Bhubaneswar.

Of 41 local cases, 34 are the contacts of previous positive cases and it includes one corona warrior.
The contact tracing of all positive cases is underway, the administration tweeted.
With 420 recoveries, Balasore now has 193 active cases.
