COVID-19 Tally In Odisha’s Bhadrak Rises To 553 With New Local Contact Cases

Bhadrak: The COVID-19 tally in Bhadrak district touched 553 on Wednesday with four new cases being reported in the last 24 hours.

All four are local contact cases, the district administration tweeted.

Among them, two are from Mathasahi in Bhadrak Municipality and one each from Bonth block and Bhadrak block.

Till date, 17350 tests have been conducted in the district.

Earlier in the day, Bhadrak Collector has ordered 72-hour shutdown in Ekta Market, Kacheri Bazar of Bhadrak Municipality from July 29 5 am to August 1 5 am. Sanitization work and door-to-door integrated surveillance activity are underway in the district.

On the other hand, 27 COVID-19 more patients have recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.

With two deaths and 456 recoveries, Bhadrak now has 92 active cases.
