Bhubaneswar: Continuing the downward movement, the two-digit recoveries from COVID-19 were reported from one district in Odisha on Sunday when 106 patients recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals.
According to Health and Family Welfare department, there were 18 recoveries from Sambalpur district, 9 from Sundargarh, 8 each from Angul and Puri, 7 each from Jajpur and Nuapada and 5 each from Jharsuguda and Rayagada.
The recoveries from other districts are as follow:
4 each from Balasore, Cuttack, Deogarh and Kendrapada
3 each from Bhadrak, Balangir and Ganjam
2 each from Bargarh, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj and Sonepur
1 each from Boudh, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Keonjhar and Khurda
1 from State Pool
The double-digit recoveries were reported from 3 districts for the last two days.
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,32,948 while there are 816 active cases with 72 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
