Baripada: The Mayurbhanj district administration has signed an MoU with the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Bhubaneswar, for establishment of a 200-bed COVID hospital on the campus of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) School at Bankisole in the district.
The MoU was signed by Mayurbhanj Collector Vineet Bharadwaj and KIMS CEO Bishnu Prasad Panigrahi on Tuesday.
Kandhamal MP Achyuta Samanta, Mayurbhanj ADM Bibekananda Sahoo and chief district medical officer (CDMO) Rupabhanu Mishra were present.
