Rourkela: A case has been registered against a CRPF jawan for alleged marital rape in Odisha’s Sundargarh district.
In her complaint, the woman from Bihar said that her husband, posted in Srinagar, brought her to Sundargarh a few months ago following a family dispute. They stay here with the couple’s three-year-old son and the jawan’s parents.

On Friday night, her husband reached home and persuaded her to go to a nearby lodge, where he allegedly raped her. Police conducted her medical examination after receiving the complaint on Saturday night, sources said.
