Cyclonic Circulation To Trigger Rain In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday said Odisha will experience rainfall activities under the influence of two cyclonic circulations.

The national weather agency, in a mid-day bulletin, said that a cyclonic circulation over the north interior Odisha and neighbourhood and another over the west-central Bay of Bengal of Andhra Pradesh coast will activate the monsoon with thunderstorm and heavy rainfall at one or two places in south coastal and northern districts.

The IMD has issued yellow warning for the following districts.

Thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Koraput.

September 30
(Yellow warning)
Thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Malkangiri, Koraput,  Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal and Mayurbhanj.

Heavy rainfall at one or two places in Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Kandhamal and Jagatsinghpur.

October 1
(Yellow warning)
Thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Kandhamal.
