Daily COVID-19 Positive Cases Drop To 4 In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Even as neighbouring Cuttack district saw highest COVID-19 positive cases in the state on Thursday, the capital city reported a substantial fall compared to Wednesday.

The capital registered 4 positive cases on the day against yesterday’s 9 fresh patients. All the new cases were from local contacts from Kalpana, Salishree Vihar, Unit IV and Khandagiri areas, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

With the day’s addition, COVID-19 active cases in the Capital City stand at 85 with 6 patients recovering from the disease.
The total cases in the city have gone up to 32,104. While 31,748 patients have recovered, 250 have succumbed to the disease so far, the BMC stated in a tweet.
