Daily COVID Count In Odisha Remains Below 50; 12 Districts Report Cases, Single Case In 6

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 40 COVID-19 cases on Monday, including 8 in the 0-18 age group testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

According to the I & PR Department, 24 fresh cases are from quarantine and 16 local contacts.

Here are the district-wise figures of the new cases:

2. Balasore: 1
3. Bargarh: 1
4. Boudh: 3
5. Gajapati: 9
6. Ganjam: 1
7. Jajpur: 7
8. Kendrapada: 1
9. Khurda: 4
10. Koraput: 6
11. Mayurbhanj: 4
12. Sambalpur: 1

Besides, one case is from the state pool.

With 33,234 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.12 per cent.

Odisha now has 600 active cases.
