DCW Chief’s House Attacked, Cars Damaged; Defiant Swati Says ‘Won’t Be Scared’

New Delhi: Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal, who received death threats after demanding the ouster of sexual misconduct-accused Sajid Khan from Bigg Boss 16, was on Monday targeted by miscreants.

Swati alleged that her house was attacked and cars damaged while she and her mother were away from home.

“Just a while back some attacker entered my house. My and my mother’s cars were damaged… Thankfully, my mother and I were not at home, otherwise I don’t know what would have happened! Whatever you do, I will not be scared. Lodging complaint with @DelhiPolice,” she tweeted along with pictures of their damaged cars.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal attacked Lt Governor VK Saxena over the incident, saying that the law and order situation in the national Capital has worsened in the last few days.

“Even the chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women is not safe… I hope that LG sahib will invest some time to fix the law-and-order situation,” Kejriwal tweeted.
