Deep Depression To Cross Bengal, Bangladesh Coasts Around Noon; Know The Rain Forecast For Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The deep depression that lies over north-west Bay of Bengal will cross West Bengal and Bangladesh coasts between Sagar Islands and Khepupara over Sundarbans around noon on Friday.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the deep depression now lies about 60 km SE of Sagar Islands and 210 km WSW of Khepupara.

Depression lay centred at 0530 hrs IST near lat 21.2°N and long 88.3°E over NW BoB off WB – Bangladesh coasts,about 60 km SE of Sagar Islands and 210 km WSW of Khepupara .To cross WB & Bangladesh coasts between Sagar Islands & Khepupara over Sundarbans around noon of 23rd Oct pic.twitter.com/uFwS5fM2wv

The Met office here had issued a yellow warning of heavy rainfall at isolated places over the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak and Balasore on Friday.
