Bhubaneswar: Dr Padmaja Mishra was appointed the new Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Rama Devi Women’s University here on Saturday.
Her appointment was approved by Odisha Governor and Chancellor of state universities Dr S C Jamir.
Dr Mishra, who had been serving as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the university since May 31 last year, will be in charge of the office for a period of three years, official sources said.
The varsity provides undergraduate courses like BSc, B.Com and BA, besides postgraduate courses including MA in English, Economics, Gender Studies, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Hindi, Home Science, Odia and M.Com.
