Elaborate Arrangements By Odisha BJP For 100th Edition Of PM’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Bhubaneswar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made elaborate arrangements in Odisha to mark the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme on Sunday.

The Odisha unit of BJP, which plans to organise the broadcast at more than 2000 booths across the state, has made arrangements for a massive outreach programme.

The 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat will not only be confined to party members and BJP has taken steps to include common people in the programmel.

Sharing details of steps taken by the party, state BJP president Manmohan Samal said on Saturday that Mann Ki Baat is popular not only in India but all over the world and tomorrow’s episode will be historic as it is all set to make a world record.

Stating that more than 26 crore people are regularly watching the programme every month, Samal said 56 per cent of the listeners have been inspired by this.

While the main objective of the programme is to bring talented and skilled people in the lower rungs of society to the fore, it also aims to discuss the social evils and how to eradicate them in order to take the country ahead, the senior BJP leader said.

Stressing that the programme does not have any political agenda, he said people from different political parties including BJD and Congress are welcome to participate in the programme tomorrow.

The BJP in Delhi will be organising a national conclave named ‘Mann Ki Baat @100’ to celebrate the event and it will be graced by around 100 esteemed citizens from various parts of the country who have been mentioned by the Prime Minster in the previous episodes.

The conclave will be organised by Prasar Bharati in Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital. The inaugural session of the Conclave will also be graced by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar and Union Minister Anurag Thakur tomorrow.

The guests include Bhagyashree Sahu from Odisha who received appreciation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mann Ki Baat for her Pattachitra paintings on soft stones.
