New York: Elon Musk’s personal life just got a whole lot messier — and the internet can’t stop talking about it. According to a New York Times investigation, the billionaire tech mogul reportedly fathered a child with a Japanese pop star, adding another unexpected chapter to his already unconventional family tree.
The revelation came from Ashley St. Clair, a 26-year-old influencer who allegedly shares a son named Romulus with the Tesla and SpaceX boss. In the wide-ranging article, St. Clair claimed that Musk once told her he had fathered children “around the world,” including one with a Japanese celebrity. Apparently, Musk expressed a deep concern over the global decline in birth rates and told St. Clair he was open to offering his sperm to those who asked — no strings attached.
“He made it seem like it was just his altruism,” St. Clair told the NYT, saying Musk genuinely believed more people should have children.
For context, Musk is already known to have at least 14 children with four women, including musician Grimes and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. But rumors have long suggested the actual number might be higher. In fact, a Wall Street Journal report from April claimed Japanese officials once approached Musk about donating sperm for a high-profile woman, to which Musk allegedly replied in a message to St. Clair: “They want me to be a sperm donor. No romance or anything, just sperm.”
And that’s not where the story ends. St. Clair also claimed that while giving birth to their alleged child in September 2023, Musk was messaging her on encrypted Signal chats, insisting their relationship and his paternity stay secret. She even recalled having to pretend not to know him during a gathering at Mar-a-Lago celebrating Donald Trump’s election victory.
The NYT article painted an even darker picture of Musk’s personal habits, alleging frequent and intense drug use — including ketamine, Ecstasy, and psychedelic mushrooms — especially during his time advising Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Sources claimed Musk carried a daily pill organizer with nearly 20 different medications, with ketamine use reportedly so heavy it affected his health.
Neither Musk nor his representatives have publicly commented on these latest claims. But as always with Elon, truth often seems stranger than fiction.
