Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor, who is married to Alia Bhatt and has a daughter with her revealed that he has a ‘first wife’, who he hasn’t met till date.
Divulging details of his ‘first wife’, Ranbir told Mashable India, “I wouldn’t say craziest, as it is used in a negative way, but I remember, in my early years, there was a girl — I never met her — but my watchman told me that she came with a pandit and married my gate”.
He continued, “At the bungalow where I lived with my parents, there was tika on the gate and some flowers. I was out of town at the time, I think, so that was quite crazy. I haven’t yet met my first wife, so I look forward to meeting you at some point.”
Well, Ranbir’s so-called ‘first wife’ was a crazy female fan, who was head over heels in love with the actor and married the gate of his house in desperation.
However, this doesn’t make the fan girl the actor’s ‘first wife’ and Ranbir said it on a lighter note while sharing some of the crazy incidents of his life.
Ranbir and Alia got married in April 2022 in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai residence.
They will be completing 3 years of marital bliss next month.
