New Delhi: The festive season has brought in some relief for the fuel industry. Diesel sales are up by 6.6 per cent and petrol has risen by 4 per cent.
The demand for jet fuel too has recovered at 13 per cent month-on-month even though the number of flights operating are as low as 50 per cent compared to 2019.
LPG cooking gas consumption has risen by 7 per cent compared to September, and 3.8 per cent compared to same time last year.
