Earlier, former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif had praised Abhimanyu for his noble deeds.

Laxman has been keenly observing people working for the welfare  and uplift of the poor and needy and had praised a fruit vendor, a woman farmers and a rag picker for their noble deeds.

Praising a fruit vendor Harekala Hajabba, the mentor of SunRisers had written – He (Hajabba) saved every rupee he earned towards building a proper school. Today his school has more than 150 students from low income families and doing well . That one incident inspired him to do this Seva. He was conferred with the Padma Shri last year. Hats off to his selfless service;

So heartwarming to see the incredible #HarekalaHajabba being conferred with the Padma Shree yesterday. #PeoplesPadma is a wonderful recognition of selfless individuals like Sh. Harekala Hajabba who make the world a better place. https://t.co/B9C6N9hSGy

The generous act of a woman farmer from Bhadrak has won the heart of former Indian batsman in 2020.

Chhayarani Sahu, a farmer of Bhadrak district, had distributed her vegetable produces voluntarily among the needy in the locality and nearby areas. He wrote:

While there is a lot of suffering for people, it’s so wonderful to see people showing their humanity and selflessness pic.twitter.com/4D0A3LjrZG

In 2019, he made a rag picker popular with his tweet on him. The former cricketer appreciated the noble initiatives of Kamala Lochan Baliasingh for feeding stray dogs everyday despite his own misery.

Kamala Lochan Baliarsingh from Bhubaneshwar feeds stray dogs on roads everyday.
Even if he doesn’t get to eat a grain all day, he makes sure that the dogs around him are well-fed. He has been a rag-picker all his life, does not take charity & he survives with his selflessness. pic.twitter.com/BeIRuZozfL

— VVS Laxman (@VVSLaxman281) October 24, 2019

Kamala Lochan Baliarsingh, who collects waste materials from several places in the state capital and toils hard to get food for his own, makes sure that stray dogs he comes across are well-fed. The man, who himself is living a vagabond life, has turned out to be a savior for stray dogs in Bhubaneswar.
