Ganjam: The excise department on Monday seized ganja worth Rs 1 lakh and arrested four peddlers in Gajaladi area of Ganjam district.
Acting on a tip-off, excise officials conducted a raid in Gajalafi area and intercepted the smugglers. They seized ganja worth over Rs 1 lakh from their possession.
According to sources, the contraband was being smuggled to Berhampur from Kandhamal district on motorcycles. Further investigations are on.
