Ganjam Reports Highest Single-Day Spike Of 320 COVID-19 Cases, 246 Active Contacts & 65 Corona Warriors Infected

Berhampur: Ganjam district reported a record 320 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 3416 on Friday.

Among the new cases, 246 are active contact cases, 65 corona warriors and nine with travel history.

Earlier in the day, Ganjam had reported four more COVID-19 deaths, which took the toll to 30 in the district.

DETAILS OF PATIENTS:

The district administration in a tweet urged people to follow social distancing norms and use a mask. “Don’t hide corona symptoms. Take care of yourself and senior citizens also of comorbid peoples. District helpline no 8118066370,” the post added.

With 1707 patients having recovered from the infection, the district now has 1679 active cases.
