Girl Student Of Odisha’s Khurda ‘Commits Suicide’ For Her Intimate Pics In Social Media

Khurda: A Plus II girl student from Odisha’s Khurda district allegedly committed suicide after the pictures of her intimate moments with a boy were uploaded in social media.

As per reports, the girl, studying in a college under Nirakarpur police limits in the district, consumed poison in her house on Friday night. Her family came to know about alleged suicide on Saturday morning and informed police.

The police seized the body and sent it for post-mortem. They also found a letter, written to IIC of Nirakarpur police station, from beside the body.

The girl has reportedly mentioned in the letter that she was taking the extreme step due to the pictures uploaded by the boy from Khajuripada village on social media. Her father has demanded stern action against the youth for his daughter’s death.
