Goof Up: Amit Shah Mistakenly Calls BJP’s Yeddyuruppa ‘Most Corrupt’

Bengaluru: It was just a slip of tongue, but the goof-up by BJP National party president Amit Shah is already giving Twitter and Congress a field day.
While highlighting the corrupt practices of the Siddaramaiah Government, he accidently said that Yeddyuruppa Government was the ‘most corrupt’.
“..if there were a competition for the most corrupt government then the Yeddyuruppa’s government would come first..,” he said, before he was corrected.

The goof up, meanwhile gave the Congress and the Twitter a field day. Congress President Rahul Gandhi also tweeted the video and said, “Now that the BJP IT cell has announced Karnataka elections, time for a sneak preview of our top secret campaign video! Gifted to us by the BJP President, our campaign in Karnataka is off to a fabulous start. He says Yeddyurappa ran the most corrupt Govt ever… True.”
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah also tweeted the video saying, “The #ShahOfLies finally speaks truth. Thank you @AmitShah.”
