Govt High School At IRC Village In Bhubaneswar Transformed With Modern Facilities
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated the transformed Government High School at IRC Village in Bhubaneswar.
The school now has state-of-the-art facilities, including 12 modern classrooms, a football ground, designated areas for outdoor activities, a children’s park, a dedicated parking zone, an open-air stage, a tennis court, and a mid-day meal distribution centre.
As part of the transformation initiative, each classroom is fitted with modern amenities, complemented by a public announcement system to enhance communication within the premises. The school’s playground offers a range of facilities including a running track, yoga space, open-air gym, volleyball and kabaddi courts and efficient surface drainage.

Presently, the school has around 2,000 students.

Among others, 5T chairman VK Pandian; MLA Susant Kumar Rout; Bhubaneswar mayor Sulochana Das; Secretary, School and Mass Education Department Aswathy S; vice-chairman, BDA, Balwant Singh and Khurda Collector Chanchal Rana were present.
