Koraput: Nandapur tehsildar was critically injured after allegedly being stabbed by a gramrakhi on Thursday evening.
According to reports, tehsildar Subrat Panigrahi was attacked over a dispute pertaining to issuance of land patta while he was returning home from office. He has been admitted to a local hospital for treatment and his condition is stated to be critical.
Basing on the complaint lodged by Panigrahi, police have arrested gramrakhi of Pandua police station in Koraput district identified as Damu Khemundu.
Further investigation is on.
