Berhampur: In a case of medical negligence, a pregnant woman on Thursday delivered a baby on the premises of MKCG Medical College and Hospital here after she was allegedly refused admission to the labour room by hospital authorities.
According to reports, Pramodini Kutharsingh, a resident of Panda Colony here, was brought to the hospital by her family members after she complained of labour pain. However, hospital staff and doctors allegedly didn’t allow her inside.
Left with no option, Pramodini sat near the hospital gate and delivered a baby.
