Cuttack: HACK4FOOD, a Hackathon for Building Technology Bridges in Agri and Allied Sectors was organised at Sri Sri University in Cuttack for two days on Saturday.
More than 100 students from different engineering, management, agriculture and allied institutes of Odisha participated.
In his welcome address, SSU Innovation Pvt Ltd Dean, Prof P Srinivas Subbarao spoke about the objective of the Hackathon and how budding and aspiring entrepreneurs would benefit through this programme.
JK Paper General Manager (CSR), Prof Prafulla Dhal apprised the audience about different opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs in the area of agriculture and forestry.
Sri Sri University Director (Operations) Narendra Lamba explained about information technology application in the areas of Agri and allied enterprises.
Startup Odisha CEO Pranab Jyoti Nath called upon budding and aspiring entrepreneurs to be job creators and congratulated Sri Sri University for its multiple initiatives for entrepreneurship development in the state.
The programme was coordinated by Barada P Panigrahi and was mentored by OUAT Prof Dr Sanat Mishra, Ashit Mahapatra, Somesh Ranjan Behera.
