Balangir: In a major development in connection with the death of Ollywood singer Humane Sagar, an FIR has been filed against two of his managers at the Town Police Station in Odisha’s Balangir.
As per police sources, complaints were lodged against Dinesh Behera and Prashant Behera, who were reportedly managing the events of Humane Sagar.
Several organisations have approached the police alleging that the singer was suspected to have been killed as part of a conspiracy.
While demanding a thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to the death of the singer, these outfits also condemned the recent incident in which Humane Sagar’s mother was allegedly ill-treated.
Police officials said the complaints have been received and further investigation is in progress to verify the allegations and decide the next course of action.
The organisations have also threatened to observe Odisha bandh if a thorough investigation into the matter is not conducted, sources informed.
Sources said that the members of these organisations have also planned to lodge FIR with the police at Saintala and Bargarh.
It may be noted that the 34-year-old popular Odia singer breathed his last while undergoing treatment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar on Monday.
